Conrad Woody is the Managing Partner of the Washington, D. C. office for Odgers Berndtson and the Head of the U. S. Corporate Affairs Practice. With nearly 20 years of experience at the intersection of talent and policy, he advises global corporations and major trade associations on recruiting C-suite leaders and independent board directors. His expertise spans highly regulated sectors, including energy, defense, and technology, with a client list that has included Amazon, Google, and Boeing. Before joining Odgers, Conrad was a Principal in the Government Affairs Practice at Korn Ferry and worked at Goldman Sachs in firmwide diversity recruiting. He began his professional career as a staff assistant to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. A prominent figure in the D. C. leadership community, he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) and is a former Chairman of Step Afrika!. Conrad is an alumnus of Howard University, where he served as Student Association President, and is a frequent speaker on corporate governance and art collecting.
