Clarke Murphy is a Board and CEO Leadership Advisor at Russell Reynolds Associates, having previously served as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer for a decade (2012–2022). Under his leadership, the firm underwent significant global expansion and solidified its position as a premier leadership advisory and search firm. Clarke has spent nearly three decades with the organization, holding high-level roles including Global Leader of the CEO and Board Services Practice and Regional Coordinator for the Americas. His extensive international experience includes two years as the Deputy Area Manager in London before returning to lead the New York office. Beyond his work at Russell Reynolds, Clarke is a recognized thought leader on leadership and sustainability, often advising boards on the intersection of corporate governance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia.
