About Ms. Angel

Christie Angel is a seasoned leader known for driving transformation through relationship-building, strategic insight, and mission-driven leadership. With more than 30 years of experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, she has consistently led by example—engaging communities, advising executives, and strengthening organizations at every level. As Managing Partner at BroadView Talent Partners, Christie specializes in executive leadership development and integration. She works closely with clients to identify top-tier talent and supports both candidates and organizations through onboarding and leadership transitions, ensuring strong alignment and lasting impact. Before joining BroadView, Christie served as CEO of YWCA Columbus. Over her five-year tenure at the YWCA, she led a full brand transformation that aligned with national conversations around women’s equity and inclusion. Her earlier career includes roles as a government relations executive with Calfee Strategic Solutions and Sean P. Dunn & Associates. Christie’s public service career began as a legislative aide to Michael B. Coleman during his tenure as Columbus City Council President. Following his election as Mayor in 1999, she served as his transition liaison and was later appointed Deputy Chief of Staff in his administration for two terms. She holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Communication from Franklin University. Christie is deeply engaged in civic life, serving on several local boards including Campus Partners, Downtown Columbus, Inc., the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and Fortuna Bank. Her leadership has been widely recognized: Christie is the 2023 recipient of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission’s Regional Leadership Award, a 2015 YWCA Woman of Achievement, and was named CEO of the Year (Large Nonprofit Category) in 2020 by her peers. That same year, she received both the Nancy Jeffrey Advocate Award from the Community Shelter Board and the Dorothy I. Height Award from the National Council of Negro Women. In 2013, she was inducted into the Leadership Columbus Hall of Fame. Christie resides in downtown Columbus with her husband.
