Christopher Gibson is a Project Manager for Academic Search and a Faculty Recruiter at KBRS in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has progressed through several key roles, including Senior Executive Search Coordinator, where he specialized in research support, data mining, and the development of statistical analysis programs for executive searches. He is also an active member of the firm’s working group on equity, diversity, and inclusion. Christopher’s professional background is deeply rooted in academia; he spent over seven years as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa and Dalhousie University. His editorial experience includes serving as a copyeditor for Oxford University Press and a conference coordinator for the De Philosophia Graduate Student Association. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Inventory Specialist at MEC™. Christopher holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa—with a thesis focused on Plato and Hans-Georg Gadamer—as well as a Master’s degree in Classics from Dalhousie University and an Honours BA from the University of King's College.
