About Ms. Manuel
Charlene Manuel is the Director of Education and Research at the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC). With over 15 years of experience in strategic business leadership and marketing, she specializes in driving impactful initiatives that foster alignment and drive engagement for mission-driven organizations. Prior to joining IAMC, she spent over eight years at AESC, most recently serving as Director of Global Marketing, Communications and Education. In this role, she managed a portfolio of B2B and B2C education products and led a rebranding initiative that resulted in a 69% year-over-year increase in new user growth. Earlier in her career, she served as a Marketing Strategist for various clients and as an Events Manager at littleBits. She also held dual roles at Seed Scientific as Marketing and Special Projects Manager and Head of Marketing and Partnerships for Visualizing.org, where she managed a global community of 13,000 data designers and secured $190k in revenue. Her previous experience includes serving as Marketing and Publications Manager at Asia Society and as Promotions Manager at CareerMD. Charlene is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership, Learning and Organization Development at The University of Georgia. She holds an MBA with concentrations in Business Analytics and Operations from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business and a BS in Media, Culture and Communications from New York University.
