With over 25 years of experience at the firm, Carter has successfully completed more than 350 senior executive assignments for some of the world’s most iconic brands. He is a specialist in identifying high-impact leaders capable of navigating the rapidly evolving consumer landscape, with a particular emphasis on digital transformation and brand resonance. Carter previously served as the Managing Partner for Spencer Stuart’s Toronto office, where he oversaw the firm’s regional growth and operations. Carter’s deep industry insight is anchored by a diverse career in corporate leadership and management consulting. Before entering executive search, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Targetnet and spent five years as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he advised global clients on growth and operational strategies. He also held a senior leadership role as Director of Marketing at PepsiCo, providing him with firsthand experience in large-scale consumer marketing and brand management. Carter holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from IMD.
