Consultant Carsten Gløvermose Nielsen has been a part of MU’s Team Public in Aarhus since spring 2022. Carsten’s focus is to support and develop effective and good leadership and management in the public sector; the education industry, the public supply industry, public harbours, state, municipalities, associations and interest organisations. Carsten is working with recruitment and assessment, but also with organisational development, work environment, leadership advice and coaching. Carsten Gløvermose Nielsen has work experience in both the private and public sectors. From 2002 to 2010 Carsten worked in event organisations with a great number of volunteer helpers – primarily as director of the football event Football Festival® in Denmark. Carsten also has 12 years of leadership experience in the public sector – latest as deputy head in the upper secondary school. Carsten has a Master of Arts from Aarhus University with a focus on history and German philology. Carsten also has a Master’s Degree in Leadership in the public sector from the University of Southern Denmark. Carsten is a Danish native speaker and speaks and writes German and English on an expert level. He also understands Swedish and Norwegian.
