Carl Pauly, co-located in Stockholm and Örebro, is an MU Partner and works with clients in MU’s global Board and CEO Expert Practice - in Sweden and worldwide. In addition to his role as an MU Expert, Carl is also Head of Learning & Development at MU. Carl joined the company in 2001, and for more than 20 years he has advised clients on leadership acquisition, effectiveness and development. This has given him the opportunity to work closely with senior executives, Board members, Boards and leadership teams in Mid-Cap and SME companies (family businesses, private firms) in Sweden and worldwide. Topics on Carl`s agenda are how to use science to improve leader success, increase diversity and accelerate organisations' performance. Carl is today serving as a Board Member in a Swedish privately owned SME company within the construction practice, focused on Human Capital operating models and strategy development execution. Carl has previously served as the Chairman of the Board for a professional Football Club in the Swedish first division. Prior to joining MU, Carl was an Officer and served in The Swedish Army as a Major, and Teacher at the Swedish Defence Academy with a focus on Leadership and Strategy.
