Candice began her career in 1995 as a quality management consultant instrumental in setting up SQC Management Sdn Bhd in Penang, a firm recognized as the pioneer in providing consultation and training in quality and business management. Candice later joined SGS International Certification Services as a Registered Lead Assessor for ISO9000 quality management standards in Malaysia and Singapore. Candice guided more than 20 clients in multiple manufacturing industries in establishing a quality management system. She was also a well experienced trainer for the ISO9000 quality management standards, and conducted both public and in-houses courses for senior leaders. Complementing her strength in process management at the organization level, Candice spent more than 10 years in the public sector in industry development and strategic planning. Prior to joining Cornerstone Singapore, she was Deputy Director for both Industry Development and Strategy & Research for the Design Singapore Council, a corporatized entity of the Economic Development Board. As a Director of Human Resources she established the first two properties of the Wyndham Hotel Group in Singapore. Candice’s strategies in organization development brought the hotels under the Days and Ramada banners to successful openings with a then unprecedented 80% of positions filled with a workforce deployable between the two different brands. Her track record on the pre-opening teams of three organizations is testimony to her career capabilities and making her an invaluable support to the growth of any organization. Candice holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Auckland, major in Mathematics. She also completed a Specialist Diploma in Hospitality & Resort Management from the Nanyang Polytechnic.
