Bjorn Lindberg is a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles in Amsterdam, where he advises global blue-chip companies, investors, and scale-ups on their most critical leadership needs. He specializes in the industrial and energy sectors, with a deep focus on sustainability, decarbonization, and the energy transition. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Bjorn spent over 13 years at Shell in various HR leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for Renewables & Energy Solutions and Acquisitions & Divestments. His diverse professional background also includes serving as a University Lecturer at Uppsala University and a Robert Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament. Bjorn holds a PhD in Political Science and Government from Uppsala University and a Master of Public Policy & Management from the University of Konstanz, both awarded with distinction. He also completed advanced econometrics training at the University of Michigan.
