Barry joined RSAcademics in 2014 as Head of Leadership Consultancy after a long international career in Human Resources with leading multinational companies. His experience includes 14 years with Burmah Castrol and BP where he held HR Director positions in the UK, US and India, as well as a number of specialist regional roles in leadership development and employee relations for firms which include PricewaterhouseCoopers. Barry has a postgraduate qualification in HR and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Barry now specialises in leadership training, development and headship appraisals in schools. He is also the author of four research reports: The New Art of Headship 2023, Managing a School Leadership Transition, Leading An International School In China and The Art Of International School Headship.
