Anne Mette Dissing-Immerkær is a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Copenhagen office with a European and Nordic scope. Specializing in high-level searches across the Industrial and Consumer sectors, Anne Mette is also a member of the CEO & Board and of the Financial Officers Practices. She is a trusted advisor in executive search with an extensive network in the Danish and Nordic business communities, public/private organizations, and the public sector, where she advises clients on CEO, board, and C-suite level placements and assessments. With more than 20 years in executive search, Anne Mette specializes in high-level executive and board placements and assessments of national and international profiles. Over the years, she has filled more than 100 board positions and more than 200 managing directors, CEOs, and CFOs while developing strong relationships with large Danish and global corporations. Her portfolio includes leading Danish and multinational companies within industrial, consumer, and retail. Anne Mette focuses on board, CEO, and senior executive searches for clients across the industrial and consumer sectors. She works broadly within the Danish business sector, sourcing candidates with the right cultural fit for family, listed, and privately-owned companies, as well as for various private equity-owned companies. She began her executive search career with another global executive search firm as a partner. Anne Mette started her career at Danfoss where she developed throughout her four-year tenure. After that, she headed all executive master programs at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), including the Executive MBA program and the full-time MBA for several years. Anne Mette remains closely linked to Copenhagen Business School and is an active member of the external faculty for Corporate Governance. She is fluent in Danish, English, and German.
