Andr� Freire is a Civil Engineer from the Mau� School of Engineering, with an MBA from FGV and specializations in Management from the Kellogg School of Management (USA) and in Human Resources Management from INSEAD (France). Before joining EXEC, he was a partner and CEO of the Brazilian office of the heatandCEOfrom the Brazilian office ofBritish consulting firm Odgers Berndtson. Previously, he had an ascending career in the industrial sector, having been CEO for Latin America of the CEOfor Latin AmericaAmerican multinationals Gilbarco-Veeder Root ( oil distribution equipment ) and Terex Corporation ( heavy construction and mining machinery and equipment ). Andr� is a member and director of the S�o Paulo Gold chapter of YPO - Young Presidents. He was chairman of the board of the American NGO Make-A- Wish, as well as an independent advisor to five family businesses. He is also a tenured professor in the Board Program course at StartSe. He is also a regular columnist for EXAME magazine on career development topics. Currently, Andr� is a Managing Partner at EXEC, dedicated to projects involving C-level executive selection, governance structure and board building, and coaching, mentoring, and leadership development programs.
