Alora has close to 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Her career began with the Canadian Federal Government in recruitment and generalist Human Resources administration. She has been providing HR research and consulting services since 2002, in Ontario and most recently with Cornerstone Canada, Cornerstone Winnipeg - Harris Consulting in Manitoba. Alora joined Harris Consulting in 2004 and leads the research team for executive search; provides search consulting; design, process and statistical analysis for employee surveys; and support for human resources and organizational development consulting projects. As co-founder and partner, Alora successfully co-ran a knowledge-based service business for 4 years in Peterborough, Ontario before relocating to Winnipeg. An experienced group facilitator, Alora has over 20 years of experience presenting at conferences, workshops and has facilitated approximately 300 seminars. Alora was a member of an international team involved in an intensive 2½ year change management/ organization review project for a major international NGO. She was then mandated to travel Canada to roll-out the new organizational concepts to focus groups in 19 locations from Ontario to BC. With a strong commitment to NFPs, Alora has Board, Council and Committee volunteerism experience at the local, municipal and national levels that spans a period of over 20 years. Alora has 23 years of experience working with education services, working from the school level to school board committees. In addition, she has experienced success coaching soccer for 25 years. As a consultant, Alora has assisted private, not-for-profit, and municipal organizations in multiple functions. As the Director of Research, Alora has extensive recruitment research and recruiting experience.
