With a career in higher education spanning over 45 years, he specializes in assisting boards and key administrators with strategic directives and the recruitment of top-tier academic leadership. During his 20-year tenure as President of UNW, Alan oversaw a 40% increase in enrollment, the launch of nursing and engineering schools, and the completion of major infrastructural projects, including athletic complexes and performance halls. He also managed Northwestern Media, a radio network reaching over 1.5 million listeners weekly. Before his presidency, he held roles in admissions, retention, and fund raising. Alan holds a Ph.
