Sensational Kids is looking for a voluntary Trustee with experience in the Commercial Construction Sector to join their board. The client is currently working on building a National Child Development Centre in Kildare Town and is seeking someone with knowledge and experience in commercial construction to help with this ambitious project. The new Trustee will be expected to comply with the charity's governing document, ensure the charity is meeting its charitable purpose for public benefit, act in the best interest of the charity, and manage its assets with reasonable care and skill.
The General Duties of a Charity Trustee include complying with the charity's governing document, ensuring the charity is meeting its charitable purpose for public benefit, acting in the best interest of the charity, and managing the charity's assets with reasonable care and skill. Board meetings are scheduled to take place every month in a hybrid format at Sensational Kids in Kildare Town and at other times in Dublin. The existing trustees are looking to strengthen the board by adding someone with commercial construction knowledge and experience to help meet the needs of the organization during this phase of development.
