The Vice President of Sales opportunity is with a global manufacturer of educational storage and furniture, with a focus on growing and expanding in the US region. The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading the US regional sales, branding, business development, and growth strategy. This individual will start as an individual contributor and build out a sales team, requiring a strong track record in leadership, hiring, mentoring a sales force, and selling through distribution partners and OEMs in the Education industry. The role is 100% remote work from home, with a preference for candidates located in the Midwest region, and offers an annual on target earnings of $300,000 - $375,000.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field, with a minimum of 15 years of sales experience and 5 years in a Sales Leadership role. Experience within the educational sector, particularly in educational storage and furniture, is preferred, along with a background in selling through distribution and manufacturing reps. Strong executive presence, leadership skills, analytical abilities, and communication skills are required, with the ability to travel 40-50% across the US region and occasional international travel.
