
The VP Nursing, Emergency, Critical Care and Womens and Childrens Services will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, operations, and improvement of the Emergency Center Service Line, Critical Care, and Womens and Childrens Services. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, fiscal analysis expertise, organizational development experience, team building capabilities, and proficiency in financial and statistical data analysis, sales and marketing, human resources management, and physician and patient relations. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to cultivate strong nursing leaders, manage the day-to-day operations of Emergency Services and Trauma departments, and prepare departmental budgets based on fiscal requirements and projected needs.Additionally, the VP Nursing will mentor, counsel, and discipline staff to ensure quality work and adherence to hospital policies, while advocating for nurse leader succession planning. They will facilitate departmental plans to achieve organizational goals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role also involves analyzing policy decisions for financial and organizational implications, preparing related reports, and making necessary modifications to drive continuous improvement and efficiency within the Emergency, Critical Care, and Womens and Childrens Services departments.
