The Vice President for Research and Chief Economic Development Officer (VPRCED) will report directly to the President and oversee our client's research initiatives. This role involves leading a diverse range of research projects, fostering collaboration and interdisciplinary efforts, and managing a substantial research budget of $143 million. The VPRCED will provide strategic direction and executive leadership to a team of professionals in various key areas such as workforce development, infrastructure partnerships, research data operations, technology transfer, and research administration.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in research management and a proven track record of success in leading large-scale research initiatives. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategic plans to advance our client's research goals.
