Our client is seeking a Vice President for Research and Innovation Partnerships (VPRIP) to lead the university's research portfolio and oversee all aspects of research infrastructure, operations, facilities, and compliance. The VPRIP will report to the President and be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in research and innovation, promoting a collaborative research environment, engaging with funding agencies and industry partners, and supporting intellectual property and technology transfer. The ideal candidate will be a distinguished national scholar with administrative leadership experience at a research university or comparable setting, a commitment to research compliance and integrity, and the ability to translate research for societal gain.
Our client is a Research University/High Research Activity classified by the Carnegie Foundation, offering a wide range of academic programs across seven colleges. The university serves a diverse student population, including many first-generation college students, with a total enrollment of over 16,000 students.
