Our client is looking for a Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering to oversee the strategic vision and operations of the Maintenance and Engineering department. This role will involve ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations, optimizing fleet availability, and promoting a culture of safety and quality. The Vice President will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, leading procurement negotiations, and building partnerships with manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Collaboration with operational leaders, the Board of Directors, and stakeholders will be crucial in this position.Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering will play a key role in driving fleet maintenance strategy and operational excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and engineering, as well as experience in leadership and strategic planning. This position offers the opportunity to shape and implement the strategic vision for Maintenance and Engineering, while working closely with senior executives and various stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
