The Vice-President of Student Affairs (VPSA) will play a crucial role in our client's Executive Leadership Team, contributing to university strategic priorities, issues management, policies, and community engagement initiatives. This position is essential for the University's Strategic Action Plan and involves overseeing a wide range of student support services and programs across multiple campuses, including student wellness, conduct, accessible learning support, student engagement, international student support, budget management, and athletics and recreation. The VPSA collaborates with other university leaders to enhance student success and retention, promote equity, diversity, and inclusion, and support a culture of belonging that values diverse backgrounds.The VPSA also co-leads or collaborates with other university leaders on various initiatives, such as experiential learning, career development, development and donor relations, and ancillary services like residence and food services. This role involves championing institutional values of equity, diversity, inclusion, and enhancing Indigeneity, while ensuring policies and procedures affecting students and student organizations are aligned with the university's goals and values. The VPSA's holistic approach to the student experience and strategic leadership in student affairs are crucial for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students across the university's campuses.
