The Vice President, Development (VPD) position at our client involves leading the development program to increase philanthropic support from various funding sources. Reporting to the President and CEO, the VPD will play a crucial role in closing out a historic $122m capital campaign while also elevating fundraising efforts for the institution. Responsibilities include managing a fundraising team, hiring new team members, and working closely with the senior team to enhance current programming and develop new initiatives.The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and philanthropy, with a track record of securing significant financial support for organizations. The VPD will be instrumental in securing the necessary funds to lead our client into its next chapter of growth and momentum. With an operating budget of $8m, of which $4m comes from philanthropic dollars, the VPD will play a key role in increasing both the budget and philanthropic revenue in preparation for the public reopening in 2026.
