Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset, and the candidate should be politically savvy, diplomatic, and able to navigate discussions with government officials, industry leaders, and the public to build consensus and foster relationships. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote team environment, managing changing priorities and deadlines effectively, is also important.
