
The UK Head of Pensions will lead the Pensions Team for our client, a FTSE 250 Organisation with a large UK presence. Reporting to the Head of People Services HR, this role involves developing and delivering pension strategy, engaging stakeholders, and leading on policy development. Responsibilities include managing pension activities, maintaining relationships with various functions, managing third-party suppliers, and supporting key pensions documentation preparation. The successful candidate must have essential technical skills, professional qualifications, and experience in pensions roles with strategy and policy responsibilities in FTSE 250 companies.
The role offers the opportunity to lead the UK Pensions agenda for a large multi 10k UK headcount on a hybrid basis across various UK offices. The salary range for this position is 100,000 to 120,000 plus car and bonus. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in dealing with public sector pensions, bidding, TUPE transfers, and M&A activities is desirable. This role provides the chance to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team while driving consistency in pension strategies across the organization.
