Our client is seeking two dedicated and experienced individuals to join their Victorian Board as Non-Executive Board Members. These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to students across Victoria. Responsibilities include ensuring child safety, compliance with legal standards, providing strategic guidance, participating in board meetings, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
The successful applicants will have proven governance experience, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting, and hold an Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Course. Candidates from various backgrounds will be considered, including those with finance and accounting leadership positions or experience in education. The positions are voluntary with a term of three years, renewable by mutual agreement, and require attendance at approximately eight meetings per year, as well as occasional subcommittee meetings and events.
