
Intercultural Language Service is seeking a Treasurer to join its voluntary Board of Directors. The ideal candidate should have a relevant finance qualification and at least 5 years of senior management experience in finance roles. Knowledge and experience of the Charity SORP is required, along with strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex corporate governance issues and risks quickly. The Treasurer's responsibilities include attending board meetings, overseeing financial management, working on the annual budget with the Director and bookkeeper, developing financial policies and procedures, and collaborating with accountants on the Annual Accounts.
The Treasurer will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective financial management of the organization and will work closely with the Director and other board members to review and approve financial decisions.
