Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the information security work at the group level. The CISO will be responsible for managing and monitoring information security, IT risk & compliance, data protection within IT, and crisis & continuity for the group. This role includes overseeing a team of seven people, developing governing documents, implementing information classifications, providing internal security support, leading security projects, and reporting to management and the board. The ideal candidate should be solution-oriented, analytical, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
The successful candidate should have previous experience as an Information Security Manager with personnel responsibility, knowledge of ISO 27001 and other industry standards, experience with regulatory requirements in banking and insurance, and relevant certifications such as CISM or CISSP. Strong leadership qualities, including acting decisively, prioritizing, taking proactive responsibility, and clear communication, are essential for this role.
