
The Site Director position is with an international manufacturing organization in the food industry, with our client being a market leader in its niche field. The main responsibility of the Site Director is to develop and implement strategies to improve costs, quality, and quantity in production activities. This includes researching and implementing innovative production processes, applying lean manufacturing principles, managing production activities, defining and implementing a strategic 5-year plan, and coordinating production and staff planning.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 10 years of similar working experience within an international organization, experience in strategic realignment, project management, and sourcing raw materials. They should also have extensive experience in plant activities or engineering, preferably in the food sector, as well as operational and technical background, familiarity with matrix organizations and lean manufacturing concepts, and experience in leading teams and managing budgets. Strong financial and commercial affinity, an entrepreneurial mindset, clear communication skills, and fluency in French and English are also desired qualities for the successful applicant.
