The University of Scranton seeks a highly seasoned, collaborative, resourceful, and innovative Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration (SVP) to lead with integrity, humility, a positive mindset, and a deep commitment to the Jesuit principles that guide the University. As a member of the Presidents Cabinet and reporting to President Fr. Joseph G. Marina, S.J., the SVP will lead a talented team of professionals in the areas of Budget & Finance, Facilities Management, the Controllers Office, and Information Technology. The Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration (SVP) will serve as the Chief Financial Officer of The University of Scranton and is responsible for the ethical, thoughtful, and strategic stewardship of The Universitys financial portfolio. The SVP must be a courageous financial leader and bold change agent to navigate todays financial challenges for private higher education, while advancing the Universitys key strategic goals. With a deep awareness of the University's opportunities, challenges, and priorities, the SVP will serve as a senior advisor to the President and will work in close partnership with the provost and other cabinet members. Together, the team will continue to elevate the institution's national profile, advance the academic mission, and foster a supportive and holistic learning environment for students and working environment for staff and faculty, in constant alignment with the University's mission and values.
