The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, founded in 1992, is dedicated to enriching the lives of Chicagoans through improving the built environment, supporting arts and culture, and fostering investigative journalism. The Foundation carries on the legacy of Richard H. Driehaus by investing in historic preservation, architecture, and the arts, believing in the power of the arts to enhance cultural life and investigative reporting to improve society. The Foundation is expanding its team to support increased giving and is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead the Arts and Culture program, develop program goals, manage grantmaking, and represent the Foundation to grant recipients and stakeholders.
The Senior Program Director will be responsible for managing the Arts and Culture portfolio, overseeing grantmaking, budget planning, and evaluation of philanthropic investments. They will lead a team of Program Officers, identify and support potential grant recipients, partners, and funding opportunities, and communicate the impact of grants to the Foundation's Directors and the broader field. The Senior Program Director will build relationships with current and prospective grant recipients and leaders in the field to ensure the Foundation's continued support of the arts and culture ecosystem in Chicago.
