
The Senior Executive Director, Major Capital Projects reports to the Chief Infrastructure and Sustainability Officer and is responsible for overseeing all large capital projects within the organization, with a focus on projects over $100 million. This role involves leading the planning processes, establishing guiding principles, and ensuring that the vision for each project is met. The SED will also be responsible for managing resources, making decisions involving project contractors, and overseeing clinical and facilities design and construction.In addition to managing the planning and implementation of major capital projects, the SED will provide leadership and direction for land and major capital development, property acquisition and disposition, and real estate project planning. This role requires experience in overseeing projects with multiple phases and delivery methods, such as Design-Build, Construction Management, Alliance, and Design-Bid-Build/Stipulated Sum. The SED will play a key role in supporting the strategic and operational needs of the organization, its patients, care providers, and local communities through effective project management and resource allocation.
