The Senior Environmental Scientist/Project Manager at our client will be responsible for leading and managing environmental projects in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Maritimes. This role involves providing expert guidance on environmental assessments, fostering client relationships, and working on a diverse array of projects in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the environmental field, strong consulting and project management skills, and a relevant educational background. They will also possess exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in relevant software, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and learning.Key responsibilities include project management, environmental science, business development, and leadership and networking. The successful candidate will coordinate project team activities, develop methodologies for field programs, assist with business development efforts, and provide leadership and mentorship to staff. They will also liaise with clients, government agencies, sub-consultants, and community representatives.
