Clean Grid Alliance (CGA) is a nonprofit organization seeking a Senior Counsel/Director, Regulatory Advocacy to join their team and help drive the clean energy transition in the Midcontinent. The ideal candidate will have a law degree and at least 10 years of experience in state regulatory and legal work, with a proven track record of success. They should be able to set and implement an aggressive agenda, work effectively under deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Counsel/Director will need to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including non-profit organizations, for-profit renewable energy companies, and CGA members, to advance the clean energy economy. They should have experience in building consensus and leading when necessary, as well as conducting thorough research and presenting findings in a compelling manner. The preferred location for this position is in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) region, with a hybrid work environment and quarterly in-person meetings in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
