Exciting opportunity to join the Legal team of a financial services firm, focusing on corporate legal finance, securitizations, and CLOs. The role will report directly to the General Counsel and involve primary support for CLO deal teams, managing external counsel, and reviewing diligence files. Responsibilities also include reviewing term sheets, offering documents, note purchase agreements, and advising the treasury function on legal matters related to mortgage business.
The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top law school, be admitted to the NY State Bar, and have at least 5 years of experience at a top law firm handling financial services CLOs, securitizations, and RMBS mortgage transactions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team, are essential.
