
The Department of Neurology at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Section Chief, Cognitive Neurology. This position is a key pillar within the health system's strategic priorities and offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing network of neurology providers. The ideal candidate should be fellowship-trained, board eligible/board-certified in neurology, with a focus on Cognitive Neurology, and have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and academics. Leadership or administrative experience is a plus, and the new Section Chief will have access to development fund resources to invest in program building and research initiatives.
Located within our client's Carolinas Medical Center, one of North Carolina's academic medical center teaching hospitals, the Neurosciences Institute offers exciting opportunities for innovative patient care, team-based care models, teaching, and research. The successful candidate should have an M.D. (or equivalent degree) in a related field of study, board certification (or eligibility), and eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina. Preference will be given to candidates with Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry Certification through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UNOS) and demonstrated leadership experience.
