They should also be able to take responsibility for their work and work independently.Specific tasks for the payroll specialist role include ongoing payroll work such as preparing payroll processing and registering supporting documents, administering sick pay, leave of absence, and parental leave, updating personal data in the payroll system, and managing vacation. Additionally, responsibilities include handling bank files, accounting documents, pension and insurance data, as well as maintaining contacts with external stakeholders like the insurance fund, tax authority, and Statistics Sweden. The payroll specialist will also provide support and service to the organization as needed.
