The client is seeking a Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs to serve as the chief academic officer for the institution. Reporting directly to the President, the Provost will be responsible for leading major academic components in support of the University's mission. This includes overseeing curriculum development, accreditation, faculty recruitment and development, institutional research, enrollment management, and faculty research and scholarship.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across the institution and with the Faculty Senate to ensure the academic success of students and faculty. They will be responsible for maintaining academic standards, promoting faculty excellence, and supporting student learning. The Provost will also play a key role in strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the President's Cabinet.
