Our client is seeking a visionary and innovative leader to serve as the next President of the institution. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the President will be responsible for overseeing the college's operations, budget, and fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will promote values of collaboration, open communication, service, diversity, equity, and inclusion, while leading the faculty and staff in a shared governance model. The President will also be tasked with building relationships with donors and advancing the college's mission and commitment to ecological perspectives in research and education.
The successful candidate will benefit from a strategic plan developed through a community visioning process, leveraging COA's distinctive strengths. The President will be responsible for advancing the college in key areas such as governance, financial health, academic innovation, student wellbeing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates from nontraditional backgrounds outside of academia who align with COA's educational philosophy are encouraged to apply.
