The Texas Freedom Network (TFN) is seeking a President and Executive Director to lead the organization in its mission of promoting civil rights and social justice in Texas. Founded in 1995, TFN has been instrumental in defeating initiatives backed by the religious right in Texas and serves as a trusted source for news outlets across the country. The President and Executive Director will be responsible for leading TFN to even greater levels of impact, building upon the organization's foundational strength in monitoring and combatting infringement upon religious freedoms, individual liberties, and public education.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional strategic abilities, a demonstrated commitment to racial equity, and a track record of securing resources in support of a mission. They will work collaboratively with staff, network partners, board members, and funders to support TFN's mission and drive the organization's future vision. The President and Executive Director will also play a key role in fundraising efforts, cultivating a diverse base of donors and funders to support TFN's work in promoting civil rights protections and reform across Texas. The position is based in Austin, TX, with a competitive salary range of $155,000-175,000 and a generous benefits package.
