The President and CEO of Nexus Louisiana will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, aligning organizational structures, and advocating for the client as a driver of innovation in Baton Rouge, the region, and the state. They will report to the Board of Directors and oversee accelerator programs and connections to capital that support technology startups in the area. With over $15M in assets and a $2M annual operating budget, the President and CEO will lead a team of approximately 15 staff in providing mentorship, investment, and opportunities for local entrepreneurs to grow their ideas and connect with expertise.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, and advocacy for innovation. They will have experience working with research universities and economic development activities, as well as a passion for supporting technology startups and driving growth in the Baton Rouge area. The President and CEO will play a key role in shaping the future of Nexus Louisiana and positioning the organization as a leader in the tech incubator and accelerator space.
