Parkview Health seeks an accomplished oncology physician executive to serve as President of the Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute. The President is a system-wide leadership role with overall accountability for the oncology service line and is responsible for several core areas, including clinical leadership for the systems oncology-based physicians and advanced practice providers; strategic leadership and management of clinical operations for oncology; and partnerships with system, hospital, medical and operational leaders to optimize the quality, safety, and operations within the cancer service line. This President champions provider growth and development, innovation, continuous improvement, safety and quality and overall financial success. Additionally, the President provides direct oversight for the Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute, partnering with the Institute COO to deliver high quality, excellent outcomes, excellent service, low turnover and strategic oversight. Based in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Parkview Health is a non-profit, 11-hospital, community-based system that serves 1.3 million in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Opened in 2018 and located on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus, the Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute provides revolutionary care in its state-of-the-art facility, incorporating multi-disciplinary teams who provide highly specialized care in a healing environment. At the Cancer Institute, patients have access to clinical trials, cutting edge technology, survivorship clinic, patient navigation services, outpatient infusion, personalized care in the inpatient oncology unit, and many other support services. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school required. Current valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in Indiana. Board Certified in an oncologic specialty and eligible for licensure in the State of Indiana. Prior leadership position within a fully integrated community oncology program, an academic medical center, or NCI designated cancer center. The successful candidate will have excellent strategic planning skills with a unique blend of clinical and business savvy to facilitate strong relationships among administrators and physician leaders across departments and disciplines. The successful candidate will be viewed as a natural leader, able to inspire confidence; promote creativity and vision and whose interpersonal skills and style facilitate operational innovation. Ability to create a strong vision and understanding on how to grow cancer services throughout the region. Proven ability to work collaboratively outside of the organization to facilitate procedural activities and pathways.
