Our client is seeking a President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization in promoting accounting and finance globally. The CEO will work closely with the Association Board of Directors and Executive Team to develop and execute strategic plans, foster innovation, and engage with regulators and stakeholders to align activities with the public interest. The successful candidate will have at least ten years of executive-level leadership experience, a strong understanding of the global accounting profession, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
The President & CEO will oversee financial management, program development, stakeholder engagement, and organizational culture, ensuring the organization operates within budget, provides member value, and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess executive presence, influence skills, and the ability to lead a diverse, global team to drive the organization's mission and vision. Strong communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills are essential, along with a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership. Interested candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and be willing to travel globally and domestically approximately 50% of the time.
