The President and CEO position requires strategic leadership, a deep understanding of social, economic, and political issues, and expertise in economic development. The individual will serve as the spokesperson for our client, representing the voice of the business community. Responsibilities include managing the Chamber, providing inspiring leadership to teams, defining and implementing strategic plans, ensuring financial sustainability, monitoring progress on objectives, growing membership rates, and addressing economic challenges through innovative initiatives. The President and CEO will also be responsible for economic monitoring, crisis management, and serving as the Chamber's spokesperson with governments, businesses, and other stakeholders.The successful candidate will need to mobilize diverse actors and stakeholders, align efforts to achieve organizational objectives, and develop sources of income for the Chamber. They will also need to anticipate trends, propose solutions, and promote economic growth in the metropolis. Additionally, the President and CEO will need to respond effectively to economic, political, cultural, and social issues that could impact members and the economy. Governance management is also a key responsibility, involving establishing transparent processes between the Board of Directors and Chamber management.
