Our client is seeking a highly talented individual to serve as their next Dean of the Faculty. The Dean of the Faculty will be responsible for overseeing the educational program and cultivating the academic vision of the College. This individual will work collaboratively with the President and senior team to foster a vibrant academic community and advocate for the faculty, supporting their teaching, scholarly work, service, and professional development. The Dean will also supervise a broad portfolio that includes associate deans, assistant deans, department chairs, program directors, and the Registrar, overseeing an annual operating budget of $50 million for faculty, support staff, and curricular programming.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate a passion for and commitment to the liberal arts, hold an earned doctorate or equivalent terminal degree, and have a record of distinguished scholarship and teaching. The salary range for this position is $265,000-$305,000, with benefits including a house within walking distance of campus, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan, and a health savings account.
