
The client is seeking a MediCapt Director to join their team. The Director will work with Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) to use science and medicine to document and bring attention to mass atrocities and human rights violations. Responsibilities include investigating and documenting abuses, amplifying the voices of survivors, and ensuring perpetrators are held accountable. The Director will utilize core disciplines such as science, medicine, forensics, and public health to inform research and investigations, as well as strengthen the skills of human rights defenders worldwide.
The ideal candidate will work closely with partners globally to advocate for human rights using factual evidence and scientific research. PHR, a recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for their work against landmines, is looking to expand their impact and reach. The Director will play a key role in this growth strategy by leading efforts to provide critical scientific evidence for survivors seeking justice.
