Our client, a leading metal processing industrial company in the Greater Vienna area, is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Managing Director. The focus of this position is on strategic company development and promoting sustainability initiatives, including implementing new European sustainability reporting guidelines. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the company's strategy to increase revenue and profit while meeting sustainability goals, ensuring compliance with quality standards, company objectives, and sustainability reporting in line with European standards, and supporting the sales team in providing knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries, particularly regarding sustainability topics.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Engineering, proven experience in a leadership position, ideally as a CEO in a metal processing industrial company, experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Fluency in German and English, as well as international experience, are required.
