
The job involves leading and strategically aligning a team of approximately 80 employees in various departments such as technical sales, purchasing, production, logistics, finance, HR, IT, and customer service. The responsibilities include developing and implementing a clear sales strategy and business plan to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability goals, as well as building and maintaining long-term customer relationships while exploring new business opportunities. The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in a B2B industrial manufacturing/engineering environment, with previous general management roles and full P&L responsibility, and excellent knowledge of the specific industry.
The role also requires collaborating with international teams and headquarters to promote the company's vision and objectives, monitoring operational performance, ensuring compliance with external and internal company policies and procedures, and conducting ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities. The position offers the opportunity to work as a Managing Director, overseeing the operations of the Italian team in a multinational environment, with a focus on profit and loss of the subsidiary and technical office after customer service.
