
The client, a wholesale company in building materials, is seeking a General Manager to oversee the entire P/L, including financial reporting and KPIs. This role involves driving sales and profitable growth in various markets, managing a team of account managers and the management team, and developing and executing strategies based on operational and sales goals. The General Manager will also be responsible for managing daily business activities, developing and implementing financial plans, and ensuring the development and training of individuals within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, at least 5 years of experience in general management, a strong drive for sales and growth, and insight into customer and sales needs within indirect sales channels. They should be results-oriented, a strong people manager, a motivating leader, and have an entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and change management skills are also required for this role, along with the willingness to travel internationally as needed.
