The Manager, Campus Planning and Development will report to the Director, Facilities and will be responsible for participating in the planning, implementation, and future renewal of our client's strategic Campus Master Plans. This includes aligning with our client's initiatives to enhance learning environments and develop innovative programs. The Manager will also be responsible for strengthening and implementing major capital project governance, policies, and procedures, as well as project managing new capital construction projects. Additionally, they will manage new capital investment budgets, oversee external contractors, and collaborate with key leaders within our client on assigned projects. One of the key projects the Manager will be involved in is the $292 million expansion at 808 Royal Avenue, the main campus in New Westminster. This project includes a 20-storey mixed student housing and academic building that will add 368 student beds and 11 storeys of academic space. This expansion is the largest in the history of our client and marks the first-time student housing has been included in the plans. The project has already broken ground and is estimated to take 3-4 years to complete, making it a critical project for the new Manager to oversee and manage effectively.
